Avivo CFO Darcy Diederich Flinn promoted to Chief Operations Officer

We’re pleased to announce the promotion of CFO Darcy Diederich Flinn to the additional role of Avivo’s Chief Operations Officer. Flinn has led finance, accounting, and revenue management for nearly four years while also taking a leadership role in Avivo’s facilities management and information technology.

“Darcy has helped strengthen Avivo’s financial position, established better reporting, and laid the groundwork for a strong compliance culture at Avivo,” shares Kelly Matter, Avivo President & CEO. “She has already played a critical role in Avivo operations with the planning and purchase of two, multi-family housing properties and helping make significant advancements in Avivo’s information technology.”

As a senior executive, Flinn manages all financial actions and operations of the nonprofit with an operating budget of $29 million. She’s engaged in strategic planning, internal controls and compliance, forecasting, and financial reporting. She oversees finance, information technology, facilities, intake, collections, billing, and revenue management.

She joined Avivo as the chief financial officer in 2016, having formerly worked at Deloitte and Xcel Energy. She holds a degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of North Dakota, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She currently serves as treasurer on the board of All Square and is a member of Women United.
