Unique support is needed to make a successful transition to supporting yourself and your family when you have been out of the workforce for a long time. These services, designated as the Displaced Homemaker Program and funded by the MN Dept. of Employment & Economic Development, help women or men who have been the primary care taker at home and lost their primary income. We help participants find worthwhile employment and livable wage jobs.
Individuals may be eligible if they are:
- Recently divorced
- Been a full-time caregiver or homemaker, or
- Military veteran
- Personalized assessments
- Individuals counseling
- Education and training
- Job search and placement support
- Networking and support
- Other short-term assistance
