Give to the Max Day 2021

2021’s Give to the Max Day (GTMD) was Thursday, November 18. On GTMD, thousands of donors across Minnesota rally around their favorite charities by making gifts through GiveMN to increase the wellbeing of our communities.

Thanks to generous donors, we reached our goal… and then some! Donors contributed $36,281, which was matched with a gift of $15,000 from the Nancy Somers Family Foundation and $2,500 from Avivo board members, bringing our grand total to $53,781!

Your gift to Avivo will make sure everyone has the chance to be well – emotionally, socially, and economically well. With your help, men and women who face the greatest barriers to recovery and employment will have access to chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services they need for wellness, stability, and advancement.

Give to the Max Day is Minnesota’s most impactful, single day of individual giving. Donors gave more than $20 million to thousands of nonprofits across the state.

Events Planned for 2021:

    • November 18: Join us at noon on GTMD for an Lunch and Learn panel discussion on homelessness and how Avivo is working to end homelessness in Minnesota. Tune in to this page or our GiveMN page to watch the panel.
  • Today through November 18: Donate to our Give to the Max Day Coat & Blanket Drive! We’re looking for new or nearly-new coats, new fleece blankets, as well as mittens/gloves, hats, and warm socks to support those in our programs. Drop off items at 2438 27th Avenue South in Minneapolis between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., M-F, now through November 18.
