In-Kind Donation Needs
You can make a difference in the lives of those Avivo serves by donating urgent donation needs items or kits, which are listed below. Items can range from welcome baskets to move-in kits to basic hygiene items, and all make a tremendous difference in someone’s life. Please ensure any donations are new, and not used – we are no longer accepting used items. If you’re interested in making a difference, please look carefully over the following options to select a donation or kit that matches your interests. Featured Donation Drive of the Month: Professional Clothing for Avivo Threads
Avivo is working to develop a professional clothing closet, Avivo Threads, to help participants in our programs have the clothes and confidence for job interviews or starting new jobs. We are in need of additional donations of new and gently used professional clothing. Our aim is to have an inclusive space for any gender identity, our biggest need at the moment is men’s/male-presenting clothing options.

Dropoff of kits should take place in Minneapolis at the front desk of our 1900 Chicago Avenue location, Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In-Kind Item of the Month: Clothing Racks
With the growth of Avivo Threads – Avivo’s new professional clothing closet (see above in-kind need), we’ll need a way to display those new clothes. If you have old clothing racks, have access to commercial clothing racks, or have some other access to them, this is a need you can help with!
To drop off kits you’ve assembled or In-Kind Item of the Month, please plan to drop off at 1900 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404 during business hours, Monday-Friday. For more information or to schedule a donation drop-off, contact giving@avivomn.org. Another option for donating baskets and kits is to ship items directly to Avivo via our Target Charity registry.
