In-Kind Donation Needs
You can make a difference in the lives of those Avivo serves by donating urgent donation needs items or kits, which are listed below. Items can range from welcome baskets to move-in kits to basic hygiene items, and all make a tremendous difference in someone’s life. Please ensure any donations are new, and not used – we are no longer accepting used items. If you’re interested in making a difference, please look carefully over the following options to select a donation or kit that matches your interests. May Featured Need: Welcome Kits
In the next few months we’re anticipating moving more than 20 Avivo participants into housing! Most of these individuals will be moving in without any essential apartment items used for things like cleaning and cooking. Help them feel welcomed in their new space by providing a welcome home kit or a portion of a kit.
Home Basics kits include:

- Shower Rings
- Towel Set – 6 piece
- Toilet Paper

Kitchen Essentials kits include:
- Dinnerware Set for 4
- Silverware Set for 4
- Kitchen Towels
- Cooking Utensils Set
- Can Opener
- Set of Pots & Pans
Dropoff of kits should take place in Minneapolis at the front desk of our 1900 Chicago Avenue location, Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
To drop off kits you’ve assembled, please plan to drop off at 1900 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404 during business hours, Monday-Friday.
