In-Kind Donation Needs
You can make a difference in the lives of those Avivo serves by donating urgent donation needs items or kits, which are listed below. Items can range from welcome baskets to move-in kits to basic hygiene items, and all make a tremendous difference in someone’s life. Please ensure any donations are new, and not used – we are no longer accepting used items. Featured Donation Drive of the Month: Give to the Max Day Diaper Drive
Did you know that one in three families struggles to afford diapers? Recently, a single mother of two young children in our programs completely run out of diapers while waiting for her next paycheck. Thanks to donations, we were able to provide her family, and others like hers, with much-needed relief.
This is why Avivo is hosting a diaper drive, now through November 19, for Give to the Max Day! We urgently need diapers of all sizes, especially sizes 4 through 6, pull-ups, and baby wipes. Diapers can be dropped off at 1900 Chicago Ave in Minneapolis or sent directly to us by shopping our Amazon Wishlist.
The impact goes beyond simply providing diapers. By easing financial burdens, we help families redirect their limited resources toward other essential needs.
Dropoff of items/kits should take place in Minneapolis at the front desk of our 1900 Chicago Avenue location, Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
To drop off kits you’ve assembled or In-Kind Item of the Month, please plan to drop off at 1900 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404 during business hours, Monday-Friday. For more information or to schedule a donation drop-off, contact giving@avivomn.org. Another option for donating baskets and kits is to ship items directly to Avivo via our Target Charity registry.
