Minnesota Family Resiliency Partnership Program
Have you been the primary caregiver in your home, and now need to transition to going to work and/or earn enough to support yourself or your household? Avivo’s Minnesota Family Resiliency Partnership (formerly Displaced Homemaker Program) is here to help you support yourself and your family, which can be difficult when you’ve been out of the workforce for a long time.
This program is funded by the Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development (DEED). Avivo staff will work with program participants to help them find worthwhile employment, and link them to training opportunities and livable wage jobs.
Individuals may be eligible for Avivo’s Family Resiliency Partnership if they are transitioning or lost their primary income source due to:
- Separation
- Divorce
- Death
- Loss of public assistance
Services include:
- Personalized assessments
- Individuals counseling
- Education and training
- Job search and placement support
- Networking and support
- Other short-term assistance
