Avivo helps people achieve recovery from addiction and mental illness, secure employment, and advance their careers. We specialize in serving individuals and families who are living in poverty, homelessness, lack education, or who live with disabilities, substance abuse, or mental illness.
We offer chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services. Because we believe wellness is the foundation for success, individuals find their greatest success at Avivo with our integrated approach to care. We pair the following services to meet the unique needs and goals of each participant.
Chemical & Mental Health Services
We offer outpatient, substance abuse treatment for men and women (with housing), outpatient and residential treatment options for mothers and their children, and aftercare services. We provide mental health services for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, case management, diagnostic assessments, housing support, community support programs, and help with accessing health care.
Employment Services
Everyone is welcome at Avivo! We specialize in helping unemployed and under-employed men and women who may have multiple challenges to stability or employment. Our diverse team of counselors pull together just the right tools for employment success: funding, assessments, career counseling, workshops, job search skills, wellness and family supports, job placement, and job retention. We work with individuals directly and in partnership with a referral partner.
Avivo Institute of Career and Technical Education
Our licensed, accredited career school offers credentialed training in eight career paths: accounting, office support, medical office support, information technology (IT), manufacturing, maintenance, mechatronics, and warehouse operations. Articulation agreements exist with three MnSCU schools. Students choose Avivo as an alternative to two- and four-year education options. Students are paired with employment counselors for job search and connecting with employers.
