Employment services and career education designed for people with disabilities

Avivo offers employment services and career education designed for people with disabilities

If you have a disability, it can sometimes be hard to get and maintain a job. That’s why an employment counselor is critical to helping you navigate your interests, abilities, and identify supports that can help you achieve your career and life goals.

Avivo enrolls individuals referred by Vocational Rehabilitation Services for assessments, career education training, enhancement course offerings, paid work experiences, and Extended Employment Support.

Avivo’s goal is to help individuals find and keep employment they love

Upon enrollment, participants are paired with an employment counselor who will put together a training or employment plan designed to meet life and work goals. Long term success includes developing the work readiness skills, communication and workplace skills which is a part of the world of work. Counselors assist with job search, job placement, and helping participants keep their jobs.

Costs for training and employment services and career education for people with disabilities are usually covered by a referring party. Fees may also be self-pay.
